Rainy skies cleared, the Allam House lit up with activity, and classmates convened the evening of October 27 under the stars on the beautiful New Bolton Center grounds.   Approximately 150 alumni and guests came together to reunite, recognize and reminisce at the 2007 Alumni Reunion Dinner.  All Penn Vet alumni were are invited to attend – but specifically classes ending in ‘2 & ‘7 were celebrated and the 25^th and 50^th reunion classes of 1982 and 1957 were honored.     Congratulations to both the Classes of 1982 and 1957 for each endowing a student scholarship as class reunion gifts!   

The Veterinary Medical Alumni Society also conducted a modified Annual Meeting, at which Michael Moyer, V'90 and Carla Chieffo, V'86 were installed as President and President-Elect, respectively.  Marilyn Weber, V'75 stepped down as President, and new VMAS Board members Heather Berst, V'00;  Kristen Dance, V'98'; and Linda Rhodes, V'78 were elected.   Also noteworthy, Veterinary Medical Alumni Society Bylaws were changed to classify "PENN VET ALUMNI" as all VMD graduates, as well as interns, residents and post-doctoral fellows. 

(NOTE:  There was no Penn Vet Alumni Picnic held in 2007 as the School transitions to join Penn’s Alumni Weekend May 16 to 18, 2008.  Look for Alumni Weekend 2008 details to follow soon!)
